"Connecting our Downtown through the activation of underutilized alleyways"

Phase 1 of the Downtown Pathways Project has been completed.  Phase 1 is the construction of 3 of 5 alleyways that are part of the Downtown Pathways Project.  The improved alleyways are alleys 1, 2, and 4. Phase 2 of the Downtown Pathways Project is the completion of Alley 5.  Alley 5 is located on the north side of the 100 E Block Market Street. It is our art-themed alleyway.  It also includes adding seating, art improvements, sidewalk improvements, and security cameras in the Phase 1 and Phase 2 alleyways.  We are currently fundraising for Phase 2.  The Wells County Foundation, Inc. has granted Phase 2 of this project with a $100,000.00 dollar-for-dollar matching grant to help support this project.  CLICK HERE to learn more about Phase 2 of the Downtown Pathways Project.

Phase 3 of the Downtown Pathways Project is the completion of Alley 3.  Alley 3 is the alleyway next to the Wells County Foundation, Inc. building on the south side of the 200 W.
